Motion Graphics
An introduction to my motion graphic design work

Ad for Campaign Project
I created this advertisement as part of a marketing project where I developed a campaign to promote a weird product, a fish bathtub!
Because my product was only a concept, I needed to create illustrations within Procreate for it to be visualized. I used those illustrations in the promotional video, adding motion and text using After Effects. The completed video showcases my understanding of kinetic design elements and engaging advertisement techniques.

Burn Me -Lyric Video
As a personal project, I illustrated and designed this lyric video for the song Burn Me by Moonweather. I wanted to practice with motion design and kinetic type. This practice gave me understanding of movement and space, and how to manipulate those values within After Effects.

Graphics for The Story of Ann Shackleton
This is a snippet from a larger project about my ancestor. This section highlights my ability to use static designs, such as text and shapes, and animate them in an engaging way. The most challenging motion graphic to create was the family tree diagram, but I believe it successfully conveys the connection between my ancestor and me.

How to Build a Shadow Box
This is an instructional video that I made to demonstrate how to build a shadow box. This was for a class assignment, so I took the liberty to experiment with motion graphics. I wanted to combine engaging movement with my videography to keep viewers interested. For my first video ever made at WMU, I am certainly proud of it!

Studio Bumper
This studio bumper was an additional project I created for my group's midterm assignment in a video production course. To make our team stand out during the class presentation, I ensured the first thing displayed was our team name, "Vintage Greencats." I designed the animation and kinetic typography to reflect our name by giving the cat glasses, adding distressed film effects, and incorporating green tones.
